Samaritan Regional Health System has joined forces with the American Lung Association® to offer the popular Freedom From Smoking® program.

The remaining classes will be held September 28, October 5, 7, 12, 19 and 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at Samaritan on Main, 663 East Main Street.

Freedom From Smoking® is a personalized program, identifying specific smoking triggers for each participant and creating a subsequent plan to quit. Positive behavioral changes, along with additional reinforcement tools, are used during this life-changing course.

The classes feature informal group discussions, which creates a supportive environment for participants to fully adopt step-by-step behavior modifications, encouraging long-term success.
