Certified childbirth educators will cover: signs and stages of labor; relaxation and breathing techniques; pain management and epidural anesthesia; postpartum and newborn care; and car seat safety. Also included is a tour of the labor and delivery, nursery and post-partum areas. Due to the informative and timely nature of this course, your support person is encouraged to participate, and we ask you schedule your session at least two months prior to your due date.
This is the last class in this session.
A Breastfeeding Class is also offered from 6 - 8:30 p.m. on the following Wednesdays: March 7, April 4, June 13, July 18, August 29, October 3 and November 7. The Breastfeeding Class costs $20.
