ACLS Renewal
Recommended for RN's, Physicians, EMT's, CPS, Pharmacy. This Renewal class is intended for those who are recertifying their ACLS and is recommended for those who routinly use their ACLS skills
The goal of this 1 day program is to review and refresh patient care staff and other ancillary staff in Advanced Cardiac Life Support techniques. It is designed to maintain acceptable competence levels in advanced life support. Current certification in both BLS and ACLS is required before attending this class.
At the end of the class the participant will be able to demonstrate knowledge related to American Heart Association's ACLS through written exam and perform ACLS on mannequins in mock code situations according to AHA ACLS guidelines.
This course is facilitated by AHA certified ACLS instructors.
There are no CE's awarded for completion of this renewal program.
Fee structure: No charge to Samaritan Regional Health System employees
$75 = SRHS Physicians
$150 = Non-employees
Course books are available for loan or purchase
All prices subject to change
It is recommended that those who are renewing their ACLS certification, but who do not routinely use ACLS skills attend the 2 day course.
