Recommended for RN's, Physicians, EMT's, CPS, Pharmacy. Day two of two.

The goal of this two day program is to train patient care staff and other ancillary staff in Advanced Cardiac Life Support techniques. It is designed to establish and maintain acceptable competence levels in advanced life support. Current certification in BLS is required before attending this class.

At the end of the class the participant will be able to demonstrate knowledge related to American Heart Association's ACLS through written exam and perform ACLS on mannequins in mock code situations according to AHA ACLS guidelines.

This course is facilitated by AHA certified ACLS instructors.

For new ACLS certification, 11.4 Contact Hours awarded for completion of entire program. For those renewing ACLS certification with this class, there will be no Contact Hours provided.

Fee structure: No charge to Samaritan Regional Health System employees
$75 = SRHS Physicians
$150 = Non-employees
Course books are available for loan or purchase.
All prices subject to change.

It is recommended that those who are renewing their ACLS certification, but who do not routinely use ACLS skills, attend this two day course.
