Why Give?

The Samaritan Hospital Foundation (SHF) seeks donors who share our goal of caring for our community.

By becoming a donor, you put your financial resources behind expanding the reach of community care and preventive services in Ashland County and surrounding areas. You will also build your own legacy of compassionate care and generosity for future generations.

Where Your Giving Goes

  • Annual scholastic awards to area applicants studying nursing or allied medical fields.
  • We have also purchased equipment to help patients with heart failure, Lou Gehrig’s disease, cystic fibrosis, autism, Alzheimer’s, and many other conditions. We have recently supported birthing and women’s health with a fetal monitor, a 4-D ultrasound machine, and a 3-D mammogram machine.

Our Impact
